December 2001 Tip of the Month: Getgame
This month's ServerTip will be featuring the getgame
command. This command allows you to search for any of a
variety of games using only a single command. It will
automatically check the posted seeks for eligible games
and issue seek ads if none are found. If seek ads are later
issued which match the parameters checked by the getgame
command, then the command will automatically respond to
those ads. The parameters for the getgame command are as
follows:
getgame [f|?|m]

f: Find any game that matches your formula and
place seek ads if none are found.

?: Check to see whether you are currently
watching for any games.

m: Intercepts manual seeks as well as auto
requests. Getgame with the m parameter will issue match
requests for any intercepts it makes.
Special note:
If you do not specify any parameters for the getgame
command, it will automatically respond to any blitz ad.
