FICS 10th Anniversary Standard Tournament
As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations FICS will sponsor
an open
Standard Chess
Tournament to be held on FICS on Sunday, March 6th.
The Details

The tournament will start on Sunday March 6th, at 11:15 server time
(GMT-8).

The tournament will be played with 45 5 time control: 45 minutes for
the whole game plus a 5 seconds increment after every completed move.

The number of rounds will be announced at a later date.

The pairings will be selected according to the Swiss System.

Rules and Policies
All
FICS
rules and policies will apply during the Standard Chess
Tournament. In particular any form of computer assistance is strictly
forbidden, and all games will be examined by FICS computer-abuse team.
Any player found using computer assistance, or breaching FICS rules,
will be disqualified from the tournament and will be not eligible for
any of the prizes.
