One of the most memorable events in FICS' history took place this
month when a team of top FICS players assembled by frengo squared
off against the Lancashire
Chess Assositiation. 3 rounds of 3 games were played on FICS
with a time control of 25 0. The Lacashire CA team was lead by GM
Keith Arkell. IM Malcom Pein, Howard Hughes and Chris Dunlop were
also among the Lancashire players assembled by Lancashire captain Carl Tillotson. [more...]
