This help file concerns the use of email addresses on the chess server.

CONFIDENTIALITY
---------------

Email addresses are confidential. Only you -- the individual user -- and the
server admins can read your email address, unless you provide it in your
finger notes.

PURPOSES OF EMAIL
-----------------

 o Email addresses are used for the registration process. For more info see
   help register.

 o Certain information that you request can be sent to you. For more, see
   help v_automail, help mailhelp, help mailmess, and help mailstored.

CHANGING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
---------------------------

Tell an admin the following information: (a) your full human name, (b) your
old email address, and (c) your new email address.

SPECIAL NOTES
-------------

Reminder: You are allowed to have only one registered account on this chess
server, even if you have more than one email address.
